Kerikeri Mountain Bike Club is proud to be the most awesome Mountain Bike club for miles around!

Our members help to build a vibrant MTB community in the Bay of Islands.

Our home is Whitehills Forest. Hand-crafted and machine built tracks, for intermediate to expert riders, weave through plantation and native forest. Covering a range of terrain, from technical, rooty and off camber tracks to smooth berms and jumps, there is an adventure around every corner.

Whitehills Forest, State Highway 10, is 8 km north of Waipapa. It is  a private forest, owned and managed by Summit Forests NZ, and available for club activities and members.

We share the forest with other groups including hunters, so the forest is closed to all MTB activity every Wednesday and 1st Saturday of each month to allow hunters to do their thing.

Kiwi and Kauri live here so leave the dog at home and use the Kauri wash station on your way in and out.

The club is affiliated to Mountain Bike NZ Cycling NZ and MTBNZ

Rides are suitable for riders who have a reasonable level of fitness and are flexible to cater for a mix of abilities. Riders on Tuesday Club Rides need to be at least 16 years old or accompanied by a parent or adult who has agreed to take responsibility for them. We usually ride for a couple hours and during the  winter months decent MTB lights are essential for evening rides.

We have our very own shuttle truck and trailer so run pop-up shuttles when the conditions are right.

The club fosters skills development in a social environment, with group rides, events and activities.

All funds go back into providing riding trails and  mountain biking opportunities.
